Is there a way to remove the Google DNS setting (8.8.8.8) from my switch?
I have added my preferred DNS to the list and have deleted the Google DNS from the device however it keeps coming back and placing itself as the priority DNS.
Am I stuck with this or is it "fixable"?
Thank you,

I messed up on the forum location but I did fix the issue.
you need to place the switch GS716TPP, in DHCP mode and assign an IP address to it via DHCP reservation.
Thanks for the follow up.

Re: Removing Google DNS
You posted in the orbi forum about a switch but you don't put what switch you have.
If its a smart managed switch, you might do better in the switch forum.

If this device is an Orbi WiFi router, the DNS selection is on the Orbi web interface "Internet" menu selection. Any changes do not take effect until the "Apply" button at the top of the page is clicked. There have been numerous posts regarding the DNS section in relation to having Parental Controls enabled on the router. Does this router have Parental Controls enabled?
