Seemingly Erroneous Speedtest Result
Hi Folks,
This is a new install with Netgear DM200 DSL modem on Frontier Communications. Orbi SW was upgraded to latest.
My normal speedtest results are 5M down and .7M up with my old hardware.
With the Orbi built in speedtest feature I get 5M down but only .1M up. But if I run speedtest on my WiFi connected iPhone, I get the expected 5/.7 reesult.
I am having trouble getting some of my security cameras to work and wonder if the problems are related.
Thanks in advance to the community for your assistance.
Russ in WV.

Re: Seemingly Erroneous Speedtest Result
You may need to disable the DHCP server on the DM200 page 62 should help.

Re: Seemingly Erroneous Speedtest Result
Thanks. I tried to set it up in 'modem only' mode but will check to see if I was successful.
Will let you know.

Re: Seemingly Erroneous Speedtest Result
No such luck. The Netgear DM200 DSL modem was in modem only mode.
I cross checked the DSL, WAN, LAN and Internet settings in the DM200 & Orbi against my Netgear D6200 DSL modem/router and found no differences.
My AT&T Microcell does not work either.
Had to revert to the D6200.

Re: Seemingly Erroneous Speedtest Result
This problem has not been solved.
I will continue the debug this weekend. Will turn off all network attached devices and bring them up one at a time to see what happens.
