Simultaneous wired and wifi connection to same computer
I know it is possible to connect a computer to an Orbi satellite router simultaneously with both a wired and wifi connection ... I am doing it. But is i possible to configure the Orbi to do load balancing between the two connections and get improved throughput?
I have several computers with wifi connections to the mesh network and one iMac that is adjacent to one of the satellite Orbis.
Model: Orbi High-Performance AC3000 Tri-Band WiFi System (RBK50)

Re: Simultaneous wired and wifi connection to same computer
From the Orbi's point of view, those two connections will be seen as two different computers with different IP addresses. There's no supported way to bond them together.
From the computer's point of view, you could manipulate the routing table or use some type of load balancing software to utilize both links, but it will probably will be more trouble than it's worth. It certainly won't be seamless.
