Slow speeds using RBK40 as AP
I just purchased the Orbi AC2200 and would like to connect it as an AP to my Nighthawk R7000 in order to keep the functionality of the USB ports and so as to not have to re-do all of the port forwarding and static IP's that I have configured.
When I connect the Orbi directly to the cable modem I am seeing the same speeds as my Nighthawk. Putting the Orbi in AP mode and connecting it to the Nighthawk (wifi off on Nighthawk) speeds drop to about 1/20th of what they should be...so around 100 Mbs to around 5.
Any ideas on a direction to look for settings that could be constriciting the speed? Thanks!

Re: Slow speeds using RBK40 as AP
1. What cable was you using to connect orbi to with Nighthawk. Try cat 6 cable.
2. Setup of nighthawk such as Qos may limit the lan port speed.
