System app won’t work with ios

Been trying to check Wi-Fi with iOS app and get response back that I am not connected to internet. I am connected and shows such on my iPhone. I am running latest iOS version so am wondering if that is the problem?

Is this the Orbi app? Mines working fine however i'm on iOS 11.4.

I am running ios version 12.1 on my iPhone.  Of note is that my Orbi app just updated yesterday and now does not work  Possibly the lates Orbi update does not contain the ios 12.1 update and there is a conflict.  I also checked the system via my macbook and that works fine, so must be something with the new udate??

What version of the app is listed? App version for me is v2.2.8.14

I would remove the app. Reboot the iphone, then re-install the app and test again.

Did all you suggested and it still does not work.  I am beginning to think it is an issue with ios 12.1

I presume it maybe. I haven't updated to 12 yet. Trying to hold off. 

I would make contact with NG support about this and ask about it.

I have iOS 12.1 and Orbi app 2.2.8.14 and all is ok.

Have you tried to uninstall the Orbi app and re-install it again?
