Upgrade from Nighthawk
I'm looking to upgrade from my 1-year-old Nighthawk R6700 to an Orbi RBK30 to extend my range of wifi.
Here is my question: Is it possible to trade in my Nighthawk for a credit towards the Orbi system?

Re: Upgrade from Nighthawk
No. You could use the RBK system in AP mode and disable the wifi on the R6700:

Re: Upgrade from Nighthawk
RBK are kits which have a RBR (Router) and RBS (satellites). You would only need either RBK40 or 30, not both. You can not use RBRs as satellites. You can always add satellites as needed. Others have posted up to having 6 satellites.
