Using RBK-50 with Telekom
Greetings, Apologies for my lack of German as I just recently moved to Germany for a while. I purchased an Orbi thinking I would connect it to the modem when Telekom comes to my home to install Internet access; however, I'm now told by a colleague that I would have to use a Telekom Speedport router anyway. Is it true and does this mean I must use two routers if I want to use Orbi? If true, is there a particular Telekom Speedport model recommended? Many thanks.

Re: Using RBK-50 with Telekom
I don't know about Telekom, but you have one or possibly two choices. 1. You can run Orbi in access point mode behind the Telekom router. This should work very well in any case. 2. If the Telecom router can be set to bridge mode, which may not be possible, then you could run Orbi in router mode. In either case make sure to turn off any WiFi radios on the Telekom unit.
