Very strange problem with Orbi RBR50
Recently after doing nothing with my internet setup a new connection with no password appeared into the wifi list under the name ORBI96_Touch. I cannot connect to this nor do I see it in the orbi app. My normal connection is called ORBI96 so I assume it comes from my router? But now I also have strange disconnections after about 20 minutes of use. where I have to leave a room and go near a satellite or the router to reconnect. Any ideas what this orbi touch is?

If you shut off a satellite, does it disappear?
Then try shutting off the primary router to see if it disappears.
Just trying to figure out if its actually your network (and what device) or not.

Re: Very strange problem with Orbi RBR50
I just tested and disconnected both satellites but the ORBI_TOUCH connection is still there. And I forgot to add I already tried resetting everything with a pin on all satellites and router

so if you shut off the satellites and the router, its still there?
It'd seem to indicate it isn't from your system

Re: Very strange problem with Orbi RBR50
Yea just tested and the connection is still there even with the router and satellites disconnected. I just find it strange that the connection has the same name as mine and I have contacted neighbours to confirm that its not theirs. But it seems the random disconnections have suddenly stopped and the only problem now being that my printer won't connect to the wifi anymore

If all your satellites and router are powered off and its still there, then its not yours. It must just be a coincidence.

So, a better subject would have been:
Very strange problem without Orbi RBR50
> [...] then it[']s not yours. [...]
"not yours" and "not your RBR50 gizmos" are spelled differently for a
reason.
> [...] It must just be a coincidence.
Or, someone (accidentally?) malconfigured some other gizmo which has
its own hotspot. As usual, many things are possible. "just a
coincidence" can be the last refuge of the scoundrel. Or, at least,
someone without enough imagination.
