What would cause RBR50 to throttle internet speeds drastically?
I've been on firmware V2.2.1.210 for routerr and satellites for a while now.
I have AT&T Fiber 1000, and use their Pace 5268AC as a gateway only, the RBR50 is my router. I've had this set up for several months, and for the past few weeks, I've only been able to get about 45Mbps down/300Mbps up via the Orbi system - either wired or Wi-Fi.
When I use Ethernet directly into the AT&T gateway, I get the expected 800-900Mbps up/down.
So, something is wrong with the Orbi. When I connect directly into the RBR50, I get the same slow speeds, so it's not something with associated switches. I've rebooted everything, nothing has changed or improved.
Why would the RBR50 throttle in such an aggressive manner? It makes no difference the time of the day, nor the speed test app, it's simply throttled compared to the gateway output.

Looks like it's a problem with AT&T 😞

Yes,

Modem FW may have broke good speeds between the modem and Orbi in router mode:
