Wired RBK53 with wired connection to MacBook Pro decreased speed

Hello,

I have multiple Orbi's with fw: 2.7.2.104, all wired connected. 2 Orbi's satellites have also a wired connection, one to a Windows PC and the other one Orbi to a Dell 6000 Universal Docking station and that's connected to a MacBook Pro. 

With the wired connection to the Windows PC I do get up to 300Mbps when downloading, which is my internet speed, but with the other Orbi with the wired connection to a Dell D600 I am getting aroung 80~90 Mbps on my MBP. 

In the adapter setting on the Dell 6000 (thru the driver on the MBP) I have tested it with autoselect speed and forced on 1Gbps. That didn't help. When I disconnect the cable from the Orbi and put it directly in the D6000, I do get the 300Mbps.

Any idea what I can do to fix this?

I have replaced the Dell D6000 and de MBP and now it is working fine.

What happens if you swap RBS placement with each other? Does the problem follow?

Thanks for the reply, but no, it doesn't matter which rbk I use, it is slow on the mbp.

I would look into sometring on the MBP slowing the speed down. 

What model is this MBP? 20##? 

What OSX version are you using?

It is the latest model, just 3 months old. I will swap it with another one somewhere this week and test it the mbp is the problem or not. Thanks for your help

Try swapping the USB to ethernet adapter first. I use a 1Gb USB-C to Ethernet adatper on my 2018 and it works well. I see 900Mpbs on my 1Gb service.

Another thing to try is the Dell dock with the windows pc. 

See if its the mbp or the dock thats bottlenecking.
