iPhone is telling me my Orbi security is weak

My iPhone is now telling me my Orbi wifi security is weak.  Nothing has changed and I have it set where it has always been set on WPA2-PSK.  What else to do when there isn't another setting to use?  I know the WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK isn't as good as the setting I'm on, or at least that was what I found out not long after I got my Orbi system and that was Christmas time 2018.IMG_7314.jpg

Unfortunately, the software Netgear uses for community forums does not display images placed "in-line" with the "Photos" icon until they are approved by a forum moderator.  There are LOTS of Netgear forums and not many moderators, so this can take hours (or days).  Images that are "attached" using the "Browse" button in the lower left are available immediately.

The security of the Orbi web interface (http://orbilogin.net) is "weak" (by definition.  It is not httpS) but it is available only to devices already connected to the Orbi LAN which know the administrative login password.  In the grand scheme of things.... not all that "weak".

Please attach the image to show what the iPhone is reporting.

Thanks

I've seen this iPhone display of "Weak Security" when the wifi security is set to "WPA-PSK [TKIP] + WPA2-PSK [AES]" instead of just "WPA2-PSK [AES]".

Go to the web admin portal http://orbilogin.com.  Make sure that in the Basic tab's Wireless, under Security Options choose: WPA2-PSK [AES].

Yes, ensure you are set to WPA2-AES only. I don't see this on my iphone 12max with iOS 14.4 loaded.

And what firmware version are you using again?

I always suggest to do a search before asking questions:
