multiple WNDAP360 in one room, 100+ devices

I have a shed that I use as a home office; it's about 100' from the house.

I have an Orbi RBR50 with an RBS50 satellite in the house, and the reception in the shed is signifcantly slower than in the house. Would adding another satellite in the shed boost the performance in the shed, or would the satellite have the same issues in that it would be too far to receive signal from the main router, even using its own broadcast channel?

Is this the best approach to improve access from the shed?

@valisorell, 100' is a bit too far b/c recommended max distance between them is 70' for optimal performance.  At 100', you might get degraded performance, which might be good enough depending on your use case.  If you're able to recieve signal in the shed with your current WiFi cards, it won't be a problem with a new RBS50.  You'll more likely to get better performance with RBS50 due to Orbi more powerful 4x4 backhaul attena than your current WiFi cards.

Before getting a new RBS50, find a long cable and move the Orbi to the the current Satellite location.  Then move the Satellite into the shed.  Start testing and see if the performance meets your need.  If not, try to play around with Orbi placement.  If all else fails, you might have to look into running a long cable to your shed rather than a new RBS50.

100 ft is not trivial.  The product Netgear makes specific to this need is the RBS50Y (outdoor).  Here's the link:

"Radio stuff" depends on so many factors, such as the material the shed is made of, wall construction, obstacles, etc.

A number of community members have described using Ubiquiti products to create a point-to-point link between a main building and a separate structure (the Ubiquiti link basically acts like an ethernet cable).  Search the forum for "Ubiquiti" for examples.
