new device on our RBK53S and we don't know who it is

Hello,

We noticed an new device has been added to our Orbie RBK53Sand we didn't do it.

Reading about removing devices says it has to be turned off. Since we can't do that, how we can remove it.

Any suggestion to go forward?

Thank you!

Are you using the Orbi web interface or the Orbi "app"?

A lot of devices now have wireless settings which create new MAC addresses for the WiFi adapter as a means of preventing "Big Brother" from tracking the device across different WiFi networks.

If the device was connected via WiFi, then the WiFi password had to be entered, which means it was one of your devices.  It may have moved on to a different MAC address and will never appear again.

The Orbi web interface, Advanced Tab, Security, keeps track of devices that have been connected to the Orbi and devices can be deleted from the table.
