rbr50 rebooting FW 2.3.5.0
Not sure what is going on, but cannot keep connected for longer than about 30 minutes and then the orbi reboots or something.
I have performed a factory reset.
It is connected directly to my fiber conection and there is nothing in between..
Thoughts?

Re: rbr50 rebooting FW 2.3.5.0
What Firmware is currently loaded? Please confirm version...
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

If this Orbi was purchased within the last 90 days, it comes with "complimentary support" where you can talk to a Netgear person on the phone.
If it is more than 90 days old, did it EVER work correctly?
Just as a favor, could you please use the Orbe web interface, navigate to the Advanced Tab, and click on the "Connection Status" under Internet Port. What do you see for:
- Lease Obtained
- Lease Expires
Thanks

I put the version in the title of the issue.
I am not sure about the
I have tried 1,6,11.
Distance between satellites is less than 30', but not turned on right now.
I am just using the router for now, and no satellites.

It has worked awesome for over a year, but just moved into a new home (both have fiber).

Re: rbr50 rebooting FW 2.3.5.0
Thanks for the quick response. Well... that shoots my theory all to hell. A 1 day DHCP lease is pretty much "standard".
Can you describe more about what happens and when it happens?

Re: rbr50 rebooting FW 2.3.5.0
it is typically about every 30 minutes, the WiFi just drops.
then takes a minute or two to reboot.
The SSID disappears...strange...

What devices do you have connected to the system? Wired and wireless?

Any closer can be problematic...when you go to turn the RBS back on.

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Re: rbr50 rebooting FW 2.3.5.0
Mine is running smoothly. 2 satellites on daisy chain config. Same firmware same router model, maybe yours is defective? I've only had mine for about 5 days though, however, no drops so far and near constant max speeds. I'm pretty impressed with the speed but less impressed with the coverage.
