reset time
i'm trying to reset my router, how long do i have to hold the reset button in for to get the orange light..

From your signature you have an Orbi. Power on your Orbi router and wait about 2-3 minutes until it's fully booted.
Then using the paperclip, hold in the reset button for ~30 seconds (it takes only about 10 seconds, but it's ok to hold it longer).
Additionally, there's a great 2 minute video here, with reminders (this will un-pair your satleites, you need to reset them too, etc).

If it's a stubborn one, which I've run across a few, turn off th Orbi, hold the reset button in and turn the Orbi on. Keep holding the reset button until you see flashing red power light.

Actually the textbook instructions are, which sometimes doesn't work:
Using a paper clip or similar object, press and hold the Reset button until the Power LED on your Orbi device blinks amber.
