unable to register - already registered
I purchased an ORBI Router RBR20 from a friend after he upgraded.
I ran into the problem of being unable to register the product (and therefore unable to use it at all) because it was already registered to him. I was directed to contact support. Support told me to have my friend email them and validate that it was okay to transfer the registered device to my Netgear account.
He did this 3 days ago and nothing has changed. I have gotten 0 responses from my follow up emails to support. I even Tweeted @netgearhelp and they are ignoring me.
Please help.

Re: unable to register - already registered
You don't have to register it to install and use it.
