Trying to connect two prosafe switches with a 10G fiber cable. Both are connected properly in the correct 10g ports but no lights are on or flashing so for some reason I am unable to get them to connect with the 10g fiber cable. The 1G ports with a cat6 works fine to connect them, but I need 10G. Are these switches even compatiable with eachother through the 10G port?

The GS7[¦2852]T[P]S SFP+ ports are 2.5 Gb only, not 10 GbE, while most XS7xxT are not supporting MultiGig (only 1 and 10 Gb).
