Firmware update for Netgear GS748Tv5 - Issue Firmware not supported
Trying to update the firmware for a client site with 4* 48 port Netgear GS748Tv5 switch on site. I am planning to use the SMART CONTROL CENTRE for the firmware update.
Issue : at the final stage of update control centre shows up with the error - "THE SELECTED DEVICE DID NOT ACCEPT THE FIRMWARE FILE"

Current firmware version - 6.3.1.19
The ports are untagged on all 4 switches
This is my first time doing a firmware update for a netgear product - any help/Tips and guidance would be appreciated.

SCC is an obsolete legacy application, still workable however. Preferred way is upload the firmware image to one of the two available image areas, and activate it before the restart.
Double check these are GS748Tv5 (GS748T-500xxx) models. Have expanded the archive and extracted the image file gs7xxt-v6.3.1.43.stk ?

THANK YOU! Yes, those instructions for HTTP firmware install DO work. SCC appears to work, but in reality messes up the firmware upload as I've documented elsewhere.
