Cannot change the default, no factory changes have ben made except IP address, have tried even simple passwords, always crashes the config app. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Using utility 2.3.25

Hi israelg,

Very appreciate the information that you provided, engineer did see the application crash, please uninstall Plus Utility v2.3.25, and re-install your previous version of Plus Utility (v2.3.24). We will have a fixing release soon.

Re: GS105Ev2 password change crashes in win10 and doesnt change

Hi israelg,

Welcome to NETGEAR community! To default switch from Utility, are you following below steps?

1> Launch Utility v2.3.25 and select the switch

2> Click "Apply" button and enter right password

3> Select "System->Maintenance->Factory Default", enable checkbox and click "Apply"

4> After that, switch will return to its factory settings

If yes, can you tell us which GS105Ev2 firmware version loading?

"Crash the config app" meaning Utiltiy crash after click "Apply" button? If no, very appreciate if you could clarify more in detail.

Same thing happens with GS116v2. I removed the application (version 2.3.25) and installed 2.3.20 and it works fine. The switch firmware version is 2.0.1.26.
