GS108PEv3 setting up for IP cameras

I am using this POE to power (2) PTZ Optics box cameras and I am seeing some glitching in my broadcast stream.I have not done anything outside of plugging it in and running it.  Do I need to update the firmware?  How do I do that? Should I do some special configuration for the ports that the cameras are plugged into?  The cameras are connected by cat(6) ethernet cables and I have excess cable, should I address this?

Somewhat vague I'm afraid.

Exact model?

Exact use case?

Are you trying to set-up an NDI environment?
Is IGMP Snooping configured for your network (the VLAN) carrying the camera traffic, and enabled?

Re: GS108PEv3 setting up for IP cameras

My exact model is GS108PEv3

It is used to bring the video feed from two Zcam cameras into a laptop for live streaming church services.

I am not sure of NDI vs SDI differences

I have never set up VLAN, I am not aware of its use and how it will help with my setup.  We are a local church that streams our worship services to Youtube via OBS studios

Both cameras are PTZ 20Zcam, they feed directly to the POE via ethernet (Cat6).
