GS116Ev2 without MLD?

Hey, I am using an GS116Ev2. I require mutlicast "management" for IPv6 addresses. I figured that this is the Mulicast Listener Discovery (MLD) protocol. I have the feeling that the device Netgear GS116Ev2 does NOT support MLD. I could not find a description in the manual. Is there somebody who can confirm this?
Follow-up question: if the GS116Ev2 does not support MLD, does it mean that I cannot use the multicast functionality for IPv6 that I am used to from IGMP?
Background of my question: I work with SOME/IP. I connected two Linux machines to my GS116Ev2. I wrote applications using the C++ vsomeip-library. The applications can be configured with IPv4, and IPv6 addresses. When I use IPv4 the applications work as expected. When I change the addresses to IPv6, then they do not work. The applications are configured to use a multicast address for "service discovery". So I think that the switch does NOT route the IPv6 multicast addresses because of the missing MLD feature.

The GS116Ev2 is (like almost all Plus switches) a low cost, in it's core an unmanaged L2 switch, lightly enhanced with select configuration options, including VLAN and some ICMP Multicast features for IGMP snooping v1, v2 and v3 support config, and a very basic IP stack. No word of MLD or IPv6 in the Gigabit Ethernet Plus Switches Data Sheet therefore. This is it.
