It was a while ago that someone had a asymmetric VLAN configured and working on these switches. I found it in this thread.
I tried the configuration with newest firmware 1.0.5.5 and I am unable to replicate it. I am wondering if anyone here has been able to do it.

I have managed to get things working. In may scenario I wanted following,
VLAN1 (default) port 1 connects to the router. Port 2 connects to local DNS server.
VLAN10 port 3 connects to my local admin/main computer.
VLAN20 ports 4-5 connects to Smart TV's
VLAN30 port 6 connects to work only PC.
FYI, all devices use local DNS

Re: GS308T configure asymmetric VLAN
typical mistake is that people try it with just two VLAN - while one does need three.

Re: GS308T configure asymmetric VLAN
I wanted to go further with this configuration and limit VLAN1 to only ports 7-8.
I plugged my PC to port 8 and started the config. I created new VLAN55 and assigned it to ports 1-6. Setup new PVID of 55 to ports 1-6.
At this point I logged off, connected PC to port 3 and have internet access.
All devices works fine.
ISSUE:
Going back and plugging my PC directly to port 8 I am unable to access switch GUI pages.
Does anyone have an idea why is that?
