Re: No Internet, Cant see switch

Hi  dp1959 ,

Welcome to Netgear Community!

Please upgrade GS116Ev2 to newest version v2.6.0.22. The switch default ip address is 192.168.0.239, you can set PC ip is 192.168.0.x.

If you still cannot find the switch, please install Utility v2.7.2 for your PC, then you can open Utility and discover the switch.

After you find the switch, change the ip as you need, then connect with other devices one by one, and check which devices can work or not.

Regards,

NETGEAR Employee.

Re: No Internet, Cant see switch

Did not work, 192.168.0.239 just keeps timing out, and Utility v2.7.2 was already installed, but installed again.  same issue, says "No switch exist in the local area Network"  Yet I can see printer, PC, Firestick ect.

Dont see any markings on my router, all 4 outputs say nothing, same on swicth ans no markings on all 16 ports, indicating to me plug in anywhere.

Segecom Router

Win 7 Home Prem.

Had temporarily reconfigured the LAN or WiFi Interface (whatever you use to connect to this network) to the 192.168.0.x/24 (255.255.255.0)?

Re: No Internet, Cant see switch

No typo - x is a variable, valid here on any number from 0...254, exlcuding the default 239. And the /24 is the network mask designated, same as the 255.255.255.0.
