Not getting the same speed as wireless when connected to the switch

When I am connected to the internet via the GS108PEv3 Switch I am not getting the same speed as I would when I'm close to the router and connected wireless.

Could you please help in what i would do

Thanks

Re: Not getting the same speed as wireless when connected to the switch

@hshah96,

Have you tried to do a factory reset on the GS108PEv3 then reconfigure it from scratch?  If yes and still same problem occurs, I advise you to open an online case with NETGEAR Support at anytime for further assistance.  State your concern as well as the steps you did to isolate the problem.

I think other people are having issues with this particular switch:

Re: Not getting the same speed as wireless when connected to the switch

@hshah96,

If there are devices connected to the GS108PEv3 such as PCs, kindly access the web-GUI of the GS108PEv3.  Go to System > Management > Port Status.  Kindly answer the questions below:

a. What is the Speed of each port where there are devices connected?

b. What is the Linked Speed  of each port where there are devices connected?

c. Is Flow Control enabled on the ports where there are devices connected?

d. What is the current firmware version of the GS108PEv3?

e. What is the speed you are getting on your devices if its directly connected to the router or via wireless?

f. What is the speed you are getting on your devices if its directly connected to the GS108PEv3?
