I need to add another VLAN to our existing network comprised of GS728TP switches. Is it safe to do this while there is traffic, or does it require a reboot of the switch?
Thanks!

Hi Makophin1,
Welcome to our community! 🙂
You can freely add another VLAN without rebooting the switch even if there's alot of traffic. But please make sure that the ports that you are going to configure is not being used so that your network will keep up and running.
If ever your concern has been addressed or resolved, I encourage you to mark the appropriate reply as the “Accepted Solution” so others can be confident in benefiting from the solution. The NETGEAR Community looks forward to hearing from you and being a helpful resource in the future!
