Switches Access
Hello all,
Not sure I am in the correct location, so feel free to tell me to move.
I inherited some switches on our network. They are several years old. I have new switches to replace them with.
I want to access the old switches config and basically save that to the new switches.
I tried the SmartWizard discovery, which found the old switch, but the web access dosen't work.
How do I get into the switch ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Switches Access
Welcome to the community! 🙂
If you have already tried using the default password which is "password" (without the quotation marks) and still you are unable to login to the web-GUI, the only option is to perform a factory reset.
Are the new switches you got also the same model which is GS748TS? If yes, then it is possible that you can restore the config from the old GS748TS to the new GS748TS. But if not, you might brick the new switches you got.
Regards,
DaneA
