XS708E Plus Switch Problems connecting to Admin Page

Purchased a second hand XS708E downloaded ProSafe Plus Configuration Utility V2.7.8 the switch showed up let me assign a static IP address but that's all switch selection nothing can see what firmware its running 1.00.12 it seems to be working connected to XS512EM and a Mac with an OWC Thunderbolt 3 10gbe adaptor

On the back of the switch there is a label ISCSI SWITCH does this mean the switch has been modified in some way which is why I can not access the other settings through the uliity

I did roll back and try a different version of the utility but that didn't make any difference

Any help advice would be much appreciated

Alright so when you select the XS708E and then click on Apply nothing happens? or

After clicking Apply the IP settings shows up?

Have you tried providing the Password on the IP settings and then hitting Apply? If yes, what happens after that?

 

If the Tabs are not really showing up you may want to try doing a Factory reset first.

 

If possible post the screenshot of what is happening after providing the password or after selecting the switch and hitting apply.

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? Does the utility not giving you out any tabs? (Network, System, QoS) or the utility is not showing the switch after giving it a static IP?

When you choose the Switch and click apply what happens? Have you tried entering the password and hitting apply? the default password is "password"

The options arn’t there double clicked on 708 switch nothing only tab that does anything is IP as screen shot shows

After launching the Pro safe Plus Utility highlife the switch clicked apply as per your suggestion password window opened entered the default password bingo got into switch reset to default job done thank you for your help
