I am using GS108PEv3 switch
I connect a HikVision PoE IP camera to this. I use cabel type cab 6 S.FTP. The distance between camera and switch is 1 meter. I see that there is only a throughput of 100mbit instead of 1000mbit. The supplier guarantees me that the IP camera is suitable for 1000 MBit throughput. What could this be?

Exact model please. Most of these low cost IP cameras are only 10/100 Mb with 802.3af PoE.

What compression, video bit rates, ... are we facing here that this camera should need more than Fast Ethernet? Again, many of these low cost cameras barely exceed some 16 Mbit at low compression rates at some 20 fps.

Re: throughput of 100mbit instead of 1000mbit.
Hello,
@schumaku was correct, this model has a Fast Ethernet (10/100M) port, as stated on page 3 of this spec sheet.

Thank you very much for your quick response @schumaku and @LaurentMa!
I could have known. Sorry for this misunderstanding.
