Actual Speed slower than Netgear Genie
Hi
Wonder if you can help. I have a two types of powerline on my network 2 x XAV 5421 and 2 x XAV5601 using the Netgear Genie tool my connection speeds between the devices are between 350 & 400 RX but only 10 Mbps TX. However using the Netgear utility tool both RX at TX show the same at around 392. But when I check the devices like my NAS and PC connectved via the powerlines they show a connection speed of only 100 Mbsp. Can anyone explain firstly why the tool netgear tools give different info. And then why my connect devices only show 100 Mbsp?
Thanks

Re: Actual Speed slower than Netgear Genie
Remember, connection speed is not the same as transfer speed.
Something can connect at 100Mbps, but thanks to all the stuff that has to happen, their transfer speed can be quite a bit lower.
