You need to introduce your new plugs to the existing "master plug":

Re: Adding an additional PLP1200 and problem with Power line utility
I bought the PLP1200 and i changed my "Master plug" by one of the PLP1200 to go faster. It works but the Power line utility gives a bad information or incomplete.
Do the PLP1200 work with this software ? That is my question.
If Yes, What do I have to do with this software ?

Re: Adding an additional PLP1200 and problem with Power line utility
The support pages for the PLP1200
PLP1200 | Product | Support | NETGEAR
do not show the powerline utility, so I would not be confident that it will work.
If the device does what you expect, you may have to line with that.
There may also be other non-Netgear software out that there will work with the plugs. You may find references to Zyxel around here. The messages I have seen suggest that the latest version of the Zyxel utility does not work so well. I wonder if an older version of the Netgear software would play nicer.

Re: Adding an additional PLP1200 and problem with Power line utility
Thank you for your answer. I will wait for a next evolution of the power utility.
