Airport Extreme and PLW1010 – Powerline WiFi 1000
Hi, rather than connecting my Powerline WiFi 1000 to the router, can I connect it to my airport extreme? I seem to be getting a stronger signal from the airport extreme.

What are you trying to do?
If you are talking about the "remote" Powerline plug, the one that sends out a wifi signal, then it has a wired connection to the router and the "host" plug that you have wired into the LAN socket on the back of the router.
It is not a wifi repeater. It is a wireless access point, so it knows nothing about the signal from the airport extreme.
The Quick Start guide explains how this stuff works:
>>> PLW1010 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<
If you want to plug the airport extreme into the remote plug, that depends on what it is designed to do. (I'm not familiar with that hardware.) If it works though a LAN socket, and can work as an access point, then there is no harm in trying.
But, like I said, it isn't easy to understand what you are trying to do.
