I have just bought PL1200 to extend my existing PL500 network. I reset all the adapter as it instructs by factory reset and then the security button for 2 secs. Since then the network does not work to my office. Not sure what to do next.

Where did you read that? Not a good idea.
Since then the network does not work to my office.
Is that the Powerline network?
If so, start from scratch.
I would start with the PL1200. Set up the network with one of those connected to the router.
When that works, introduce the PL500 plugs one at a time following these instructions:
>>> Adding a powerline adapter to an existing powerline network <<<
Do not reset the plugs.
Be warned that by mixing 500 and 1200 plugs you are limiting the speed of the network to the speed of the slowest plugs. You probably won't notice much difference. But the LAN on the 1200 runs at 1000 Mbps while the others do 100 Mbps.
