Connecting a FTH Modem to a router using a Powerline adapter kit

I have just had fiber to the home installed to my home. The internet service company installed the modem in my garage. I bought a pair of Powerline PLP200-100PAS' to connect the modem to my Netgear Nighthawk router. I did this to avoid having to pull ethernet cabling from my modem in my garage to my router inside my home.

Is there any reason you know of that this would not work?

Tried it?

The normal use of Powerline is out of the the router and on to something ese, but I have seen reports of people using Powerline is the link between modem and router.

As @plemans says, it might help to tell people what delivers the Internet to you.

The nature of the mans circuit could also be significant. Garages have a habit of having their own mains junction box. If that sits between the "host" plug and the guest plug before the router, it could cause problems.

In other words, there is no simple yes/no answer.
