Does the XAV5201 show up in Genie Network Map
Does the base unit show up in Genie Network Map when set up properly? Or just the XWN5001? I only see the XWN5001. I am not sure I set the pair up properly.
I was trying to add a second XWN500q to an existing pair of powerlines, and I goofed up the configuration. So I was trying to set the original pair back up and I am struggling. And I may have the non-factory pair paired.
What seemed to work was perform a factory reset on both units. Then use the security button to pair them. Then I used the WPS button on the router to configure the wireless. I have no proof that the SSID and password were copied to the XWN, other than the blinking stopped eventually. Since either my iphones or router are a little flaky, I am not sure the wifi is extending. I'll check it tomorrow.
Is the XAV5201 base unit supposed to show up in the Genie Network Map?

Mine does.
I have nothing else connected, which is why it is on its own.
