Ext Not accepting password after years of using

My extender has worked for at least 4 years with no problem.  all of a sudden, i have spotty internet including inability to use my Ring doorbell.  The extender is listed on wifi options but it won't accept my password. Help.

What extender are we talking about here? Does it have a model number?

I assume that it is powerline, but the absence of any useful information makes it hard to know.
