Firmware Update for PL1010v2

I updated the firmware in both of the PLW1010v2 "remote" units to V1.0.0.18 via a web browser to their IP.  The PL1010v2 has a MAC but no IP address.  I'm unable to find any reference to undating the firmware.  So the unit doesn't have an IP and no updates or method to apply an  update?  If this is true it seems to be an issue.

It won't have an IP address. Think of its is a bit of wire. Wires don't have IP addresses.

Where did you get the firmware? No instructions with it?
