I have two PLP1200 units that work like a dream. However, in looking to expand my Ethernet home network here in Australia, I can only find PLP1000 and PLP2000 units for sale.
So, if I want to expand my network, which model should I buy - the 1000 or the 2000?

I'd go for the cheaper of the two.
They all have gigabit Ethernet. The 1200 will limit the 2000 to 1200 plug to plug. The 1000 will limit the 1200 to 1000. Not much difference.
