Help Extending Powerline Network and Adding Wi-Fi to Detached Garage
I have a NETGEAR PowerLINE 1000 Mbps (PL1010-100PAS) I used to create a high-speed wired connection to my PC, which I need for working from home.
Now I would like to extend my Powerline Network to put WiFi into my detached garage, which is too far away to pickup my home's WiFi signal. What NETGEAR device can I buy to simply extend the exitising powerline setup into my garage and create a WiFi signal in there?
Model: PL1010|PowerLINE 1000 adapter

Re: Help Extending Powerline Network and Adding Wi-Fi to Detached Garage
Two options:
- Add a pair of powerline plugs that come with wifi built in to your existing plugs
- Connect a wifi repeater to the LAN outlet on the remote plug
Here's the first option:
PLW1000 | Powerline | Networking | Home | NETGEAR
Sadly, Netgear, like most kit makers, does not see single plugs.
