Improving powerline coverage by adding additional adapter

I need to connect two points situated at a distance not supported by a couple of powerline adapters. Would, adding an additional powerline adapter in the middle, extend coverage?
Thanks

Unlikely. Powerline relies on having a direct wired link between the source plug, the one next to the router, and the destination plug.
But what does this mean?
two points situated at a distance not supported by a couple of powerline adapters.

Re: Improving powerline coverage by adding additional adapter
Unlikely. Plugs do not act as repeaters.
200 metres is a long stretch for Powerline, or any other "extender" technology, including wifi. It might even push an Ethernet cable.
Are these sockets even on the same mains loop?
