Made a Factory Reset - Lost the original Product Key
This quarantine is killing me.
My Stora MS2000 was working till yesterday, when it decide to stop working.
It's an old model so i haven't anymore the product key.
I have the serial and i know the old name i give it during the first registration.
Is there a way to have a new product key or any solution to register it again??
PS: during this new registration i have to choose a different name??
Thanks for any help!!

You might get better and quicker replies, and find other answers, over in the appropriate section for your device:
ReadyNAS Network Storage: Official NETGEAR Community
or
Using your ReadyNAS in Business & Home - NETGEAR Communities
I have asked the Netgear moderator to move your message.

Re: Made a Factory Reset - Lost the original Product Key
Hello @gandalf78 , how did you solve?
I am in a very similar situation, I restored by my STORAs (I have 2) and both of them have non working local GUI. Although mystora.com is not working even the local GUI is not working and I can still browse them from my local network but I don't know how long it will work with the "corrupted" GUI.
Did the reset procedure work for you? As NETGEAR shut down the www.mystora.com website on 1st April.
Thanks in advance for your reply.

Re: Made a Factory Reset - Lost the original Product Key
Yes, i have followed the reset procedure as seen on the website.
The serial was in the lower part of the device, i also remmeber the name i give to mystora.com
i just do this procedure after the 1st april, so it's working also without the website!!!

Re: Made a Factory Reset - Lost the original Product Key
Hi @gandalf78 , thanks for replying me.
For the sake of the clarity: did you follow the procedure at this link below?
https://kb.netgear.com/20608/How-to-Reset-the-Stora-to-Factory-Defaults
or this one?
https://community.netgear.com/t5/Stora-Legacy/Re-flash-your-NetGear-Stora/m-p/264219
because my issue is that the GUI at the STORA device is no longer working... I can reach both of them on my LAN but I cannot browse them by using the web browser....
Could you tell me which one of the 2 procedures worked for you?

This is the procedure i have follow...
When i reset it, the STORA goes in DHCP mode, then i enter my router to verify which address the STORA has.
With that address i have entered in the web page and then i have re-register the STORA with the same PRODUCT KEY and Device Name i used the first time.
