PLP1000s wont connect with eachother

Today, I woke up to find that my PLP1000s had somehow disconnected from each other overnight (they had been working about 12 hours before). I have resetted and attempted to reestablish the connection between the two and yet they are unable to connect to each other, I have tried two different sockets in my house and yet the Powerline LED will remain off. If someone could tell me what to try I would be grateful.

Re: PLP1000s wont connect with eachother
have you tried them on the same electrical circuit in the house?
Many things add interference for powerline.
these can be:
surge protectors
gfci outlets
arc fault outlets
cheap/bad electronics
cell phone chargers (some)
high draw appliances
old/poor wiring
distance
So many things influence powerline. Trying them on the same electrical circuit reduces the interference

Re: PLP1000s wont connect with eachother
Being as I am only 16, I am unfamiliar with the electric circuits in my house, all I can say is that they were on two different floors. My brother also is using a PLP1000 and his is working without any issues over the same circuit, we have both used our powerlines without a problem for well over 3/4s of a year.

Re: PLP1000s wont connect with eachother
Did you add them to his powerline setup or try to set them up seperate?

Re: PLP1000s wont connect with eachother
We've had them seperate with no issues, he turns his receiver powerline off at night where mine decided to disconnect.

Re: PLP1000s wont connect with eachother
In the past I've tried but it was just seen as easier to keep them seperate
