PLW1000 access with nighthawk or genie

HI,

I can't seem to connect my PLW1000 to either the netgear nighthawk or genie app? It cannot detect it.

I'm connected to the PLW1000 wifi on my iphone and I'd like to loginto the PLW to configure things.

I've also tried logging into mywifiext without luck either.

Any clues?

The manual does not suggest that any of the Netgear apps will work with Powerline wifi extender. Did you read something that said you could?

What happened when you tried? Unfortunately, "without luck" says nothing about what you did and any messages you received.

Have you tried tracking down the IP address of the plug? Aim a browser at that.

I can use Netgear Genie 2.4.62 to look at the Powerline devices, connection speeds, encrypted link information.

BTW, Genie is discontinued and no longer available at US sites.  It is still available at the UK site:
