Powerline XWN5001
I have the netgear Nighthawk X6 R8000. We have the powerline adaptors from our house to our barn...set up to our barn camera system. I previously had a static ip address, but have moved over to a dynamic ip address. BUT now my powerline is not staying online. I can unplug and plug back in, they find the ip address, then will stop. When I click on the fix connection button I end up getting the message "Your computer appears to be correctly configured but the device or resource (ip address of powerline) is not responding. A netgear tech did set my powerline adaptor to address reservation on the Nighthawk X6 R8000. BUT it won't stay on.

Re: Powerline XWN5001
The plugs aren't usually involved in IP addresses. They don't have their own IP addresses.
So I assume that we are talking about the wifi bit of the XWN5001.
