The power and ethernet lights are both on at the top of my adapter however the Powerline one isn't. Every once in while it flashes green for a second or two but it still fails to provide any Internet access to my computer. I have one downstairs and one in my room. They are both acting in the same way. Help please!
Kind of looks like you're plugged into a power strip.
Things that cause interference with powerline devices: surge protectors
gfci outlets
arc fault breakers
high draw appliances
bad/cheap electronics
electronics going bad
some cell phone chargers
distance
old/bad wiring.
try moving them to the same room (same circuit) and remove any surge protectors/power strips. See if they connect that router. If they do, they're working fine. Its something adding interference
