Update Firmware
I recently bought a Netgear Dual Band WiFi range Extender Model WN2500RP and I'm using it exactly for that but I see in the downloads that there is a new firmware update for it. I want to update the firmware but I have to use it as my primary router . If I do that then it no longer is a Range Extender so how do I update the firmware and still keep it as my range extender? Also I have cable for my internet and there is no cable hook up on this router. So that's another question how do I update the firmware if there is no way to connect it to the internet? I'm a dummy on this subject so I need all the help I can get. Thanks.

Re: Update Firmware
Connect a PC with an Ethernet cable to one of the four ports on the back of the extender and then log in to http://www.mywifiext.net/ (username admin, password password). Go to Maintenance -> Firmware Update and click Check. Follow the instructions and it should update by itself. Any questions? Let us know.
