I've bought the Powerline 1000 adaptors thinking they would produce a wifi signal, which they don't
Which product do I need which will work through the home electrical system but provide a wifi signal?
Thanks much appreciated

Re: Wifi
You can also use Powerline Ethernet as the Ethernet link between a router and a wireless access point (AP) that you connect to the "remote" plug.
This can be better than buying a Powerline adapter that doubles as a wireless access point, such as the PLW1000.
A standalone AP can be more powerful, and with more features, than the PLW1000, a pretty basic device. I have Powerline Ethernet feeding an Orbi in AP mode.
This is also a good way of turning a redundant router into an AP.
