XAV 5001 - Time Machine / Bonjour Issue
Dear All,
After complaining a few months ago I have not heard anything from Netgear!
My setup is pretty easy - four XAV 5001 connecting NAS (running Time Machine), IPTV, Router and iMac. Whenever a Time Machine backup is running the router looses the connection to the NAS after a few minutes. It seems that heavy traffic causes the XAV 5001 to start dropping multicast packets. This problem persists even after the heavy traffic load is gone.
In the meantime I tried other powerline adapters (TP-Link & Devolo), they worked fine in the same environment.
I will order them if Netgear won't come up with a firmware update or any other help!
Regards,
André
