Re: XAV5001/5004 low throughput
Hi DND,
Yes, very disappointed with XAVB5001 Performance.
Purchased on Netgear Quality Promise to replace LAN over Power adapters supplied by ISP.
Units have failed to meet expectations with speed of 5-21 Mbps RX and 10-80 Mbps TX.
Very little support from Netgear on-line Technical Team: ‘lots of talk and no action’.

Re: XAV5001/5004 low throughput
actually i sorta fixed mine by unplugging and replugging the xav5001. before was real-world throughput of around 7Mbps, afterwards was 53-4Mbps. the utility showed lower throughput at around 230-250Mbps, but the real-world was way higher.
