powerline extender PLW100 Plug US to NZ
Im looking to buy the powerline PLW1000 while in US on holiday. It is much cheaper. Problem is that the NZ wall plug is different to the US. The adapter is 110-240v so it will work if I use a us/nz plug adapter. My question is will I loose and performance by using it. Netgear advises against plugging into power board etc.... Has any had experience with buying from a different country with different wall socket plug and requiring an adapter. Did it work and did it perform well.
'Thanks in advance

I am not familiar with emigrating plugs, but I do know that this advice belongs in the "covering its rear end" on Netgear's part. Plugs happily span extension sockets, but maybe not smart ones with surge suppression. A simple extension block does just fine.
