Can a Netgear GS308 be used as a hub
I have a GS308 netgear switch. I want to use it as a hub where it transmit data packet from one point to another .
Is it possible to use unmanaged GS308 as a hub?

Re: Can a Netgear GS308 be used as a hub
Curious what you understand to be a "Hub". Times of classic Ethernet are long gone. The devices you have at home or at your business are more likely Ethernet switches with RJ45 ports than Ethernet hubs (aka. Repeater) in the classic sense. The big point of a switched Ethernet is the ability to work full duplex. Or do you have some Coax-Ethernet in place?
Yes, a switch does about the same - just much better.
Or are you looking for an Ethernet tap? Then you should arrive in the 20th century and look into simple configurable or managed switches where you can configure a port for port mirroring.
Modern hubs like the ones from DEC are more store and forward bridges.
